It is a manufacturing process where a heated material is put into a mould and then compressed, to make a range of parts. Finally, the mold closes on the material and the material is subjected to high pressure. Material flows take place, and it takes the shape of the mold cavity. Lastly, after material has been cured and it has cooled, the mold is opened, and the finished part is ejected.

Closing the Mould: Finally, to form the mould and let the material flow it is closed, pressure is then applied to the material.
Curing and Cooling: After the material has been coated, it is left to cure and cool but with the pressure continued to be applied.
Opening the Mould: The mould is then opened and the actual finished part is ready for use or for finishing off.
